Tour of Siena with your private guide to learn about the history of the city and appreciate its beauties. Some of the most interesting attractions in Siena are:
- The Church of San Domenico also known as the Basilica Cateriniana.
- The Fonte Branda which in the Middle Ages was one of the main water sources of the city.
- The Palazzo Salimbeni built in the Gothic style is now the seat of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena bank and Palazzo Tolomei one of the oldest in Siena.
- Piazza del Campo built in the early 1300s, is the main public space in the historic center of Siena and is the square where the Palio race takes place on 2 July and 16 August of each year. In the upper part of Piazza del Campo is the Fonte Gaia which represents the terminus of the pipeline system that in the Middle Ages brought water to the city center as well as various noble palaces that surround the shell-shaped square.
