Experience an introduction to the world of the Marchesi Antinori and their wines with Barricaia Tour Experience.
From Florence with your private driver you can reach the Antinori Chianti Classico winery where, during a guided tour, you can learn more about the history of the Antinori family, see how a wine is produced and enjoy the innovative architecture of the winery. The tour culminates with the tasting of three of the company's wines.
The visit is intended to be a journey into the world of wine and into the history of the Antinori family, briefly illustrated in Cinzia Th. Torrini's short film dedicated to the family: "Gli Antinori: Vignaioli dal 1385".
The tour takes you from the outside inside the winery, offering spectacular views of the grand spiral staircase, the vineyards that cover the winery's roof, and the wine making and aging areas.
At the end of the tour, you will taste some of the estate's most classic wines: Villa Antinori Pinot Bianco Toscana IGT, Villa Antinori Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva and Cont'Ugo Bolgheri DOC.
Wines may vary according to season and availability.
The visit lasts about an hour and a half and includes other guests. At the end of the tour, return to Florence with your private driver.
