From Positano the tour will take you to Pompeii, Ravello and Amalfi to return in the late afternoon to your hotel in Positano.
Discover at your own pace the archeological site of Pompeii, the roman town of approx 20.000 inhabitants destroyed and completely covered in 30 feet of volcanic ash by the eruption of Vesuvius in the morning of the August 24th 79 A D. which the eruption preserved exactly how it was.
Discover the medieval city of Amalfi walking through the narrow streets and alleys, famous in the Middle Ages for its trade in the Mediterranean area. Stroll through the picturesque maze of streets and stop in the main square where a staircase leads to the Cathedral with bronze doors from Constantinople and dated 1066.
Amalfi famous for its traditional handmade paper, it is now possible to visit the Paper Museum to learn more about this ancient tradition.
Alternatively you can decide to have your stop in Ravello. Going up the highest area of the Amalfi Coast, there is the fascinating Ravello famous for its marvelous villas: the magnificent gardens and the monumental complex of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone with the scenographic Infinity Terrace.
