Day 1 - Arrival in Rome and orientation tour

Day 2 - Ancient Rome and Colosseum

Day 5 - Siena and San Gimignano and Chianti Villages
From Florence a day excursion in Tuscany to visit Siena, San Gimignano and Chianti countryside.
Visit of Siena with your private guide including the Duomo, Palazzo Pubblico and Campo Square.
Siena is considered the best preserved of the art cities and is filled with treasures of art and architecture. In the Middle Ages, Siena rivaled Florence in wealth and importance before finally bowing to the powerful Medicis.  The main sights to visit include the wonderful black-and-white Gothic Cathedral, the Palazzo Pubblico, for its unique mosaic depicting scenes from the Bible, and the Torre del Mangia for a nice view over the city.  You will also want to see the beautiful Piazza del Campo where in July and August, the famous Il Palio horse race takes place.
At your own pace explore San Gimignano that is one of the most picturesque of all the Tuscan hill towns, preserved almost intact since the Middle Ages and mainly known for its medieval towers which dominate the town’s skyline.  
Explore the Chianti area with the suggestive landscape of medieval villages, wineries, castles, soft rolling hills cypress-lined roads and vineyards. Visit of a top rated winery where experience a guided visit of the cellars followed by a guided wine tasting to appreciate the world-famous wines of the Chianti Classico.

Day 6-   Pisa and Cinque Terre
